This park is fantastic. It has two play areas, a bowling alley and restaurant, sand volleyball, a pool and a skate park area in it. My girls love the tiny town and rollerblading in the skate area. The picnic tables are also great for birthday parties. Best place for kids and families.
Awesome kids out there. We had never been to the skatepark there before but were treated like family. Cool little park.
The pool is a good facility. The skate park is a great idea! The outdoor gathering spaces seem good also. Better parking options are needed throughout the park would be helpful. The biggest problem is that the children's play area remains closed.
You pay for a pool pass. $75 for family pass for four. You have to choose evening or daytime. Can't be both. Then you show up to swim during your PAID FOR Pass time and get told there's no family night because there is a private party. We the public pay for our time when we buy season passes. I've never been given my physical pass, only have my receipt. Never been given a list of pool rules or guidelines but was told this evening the private party was posted on Facebook. Well I don't have internet in Kershaw and there was nothing posted at the front doors at the pool. A lifeguard told me it was in THEIR schedule. How does this help the rest of us? A private party should not encompass the entire pool. It should be limited to one side of the pool. Your pass paying customers are as important as your 15 or so private party customers who were there this Saturday preventing my PAID FOR family pass from being used.So you tell me a private party Trump's my prepaid pass! How so?! I paid, they paid. We all paid for services but my paid service was denied. Also there was food at that party, pizza and cupcakes even though no food permitted at the pool. Oh, I forgot, it's a private party! Give me a break!! There is something wrong with this scenario and Stevens Park and the Rec Department need to make some changes fair to all, like having one n time set aside for private parties on a regular basis and set it down in a printed schefule fior all and then abide by it themselves! Rant not over!!!
I Love this Park. It has a variety of things for the kids to do including Playground, Volleyball, Skateboard Ramps, Arcade, Bowling Alley, Picnic Area and a Beautiful Pool. The Park and Pool Area are Very Clean.
