I arrived at 10pm while traveling with my daughter . The desk clerk was so kind and courteous. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had a microwave full sized refrigerator and a table with two chairs. A large king size comfortable bed with clean linens. Every inch of this room was clean including Windows, mirrors,sink,tv Fraser, fridge microwave. The room was nicely painted and decorated. I paid an extremely modest price for this room. The quality of this room was so much higher than what I expected for the price. I also noticed it is well lit and has stores across the street for access to things you may need. I absolutely will return to this motel!!!
Nasty
DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE! Let me preface that we attempted to stay @ another hotel, but it was booked. We were in town for a one day family reunion & we had been traveling for 17 hours.The room we stayed in smelled, the tub was nasty, peeling, & old. There was SLIME & hair behind the sink faucet.The shower curtain had SLIMY MOLD on it (I had the owner replace it immediately). Water barely came out the faucet & it wasn't hot. Some of the outlets worked. The smoke detector didn't work & THERE IS NO SPRINKLER SYSTEM. We bought cleaning supplies to make the room as sanitary as possible. Oh, the plus is there's a restaurant & Dollar Tree next door. The a/c worked great. Yes, the room was $58, but it wasn't worth it. The owner was the receptionist & housekeeper. He does not do even the minimum to keep customers safe & comfortable. IF YOU DON'T LIKE CLEANING AFTER PEOPLE, HIRE SOMEONE TO DO IT. IF NOT, RUNNING A HOTEL MAY NOT BE FOR YOU.
